Buffers

 

 

Buffers can be made to any length or profile that you require.  Straight buffers will wrap around a cradle but increasingly we are asked for shaped buffers that will fit the cradle without distortion.

 

Profile, length and shape can be chosen, the buffers will be manufactured with a 50mm flange to secure them to the cradle but any other width flange can be specified.

 

Typically the foam filling is:

6LB Recon Chip - RB095 - 206 x 150 95 kg/m³ RB Richbond combustion modified rebond CRIB V(6) ISO 845

 

For more information click here but lighter weight foams are available which are particularly good for bigger profile buffers to keep the weight down.

 

Brass Sail Eyelets can be inserted in the flanges of the buffers if required.

 

Buffers don’t have to be for cradles.  We can make up something for whatever needs protecting.
